Affiliate disclosure
WeTheTraders is an educational comparison website. Some links on our site are affiliate or referral links. If you click one of those links and sign up, open an account, purchase a plan, or otherwise become a customer, WeTheTraders may earn a commission.
What this means
Affiliate commissions help support the cost of running WeTheTraders, including research, comparison tools, hosting, data maintenance and editorial work. Using an affiliate link does not cost you extra.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links may appear in platform reviews, comparison tables, ranking pages, “Best for” pages, broker pages, prop firm pages, trading tool pages, emails, or other site content. Wherever a link is genuinely an affiliate link, we show a clear disclosure next to it — before you click, not after.
At launch, most links point to platforms' official websites and we earn nothing. We keep affiliate URLs strictly separate from official URLs, and we only send you through an affiliate link where a program has been approved.
What commissions do not do
Commissions do not buy higher ratings. They do not guarantee a positive review. They do not remove risk warnings. They do not change our responsibility to explain important fees, restrictions, rules, risks or limitations.
Rankings and reviews
Our rankings are based on our published review methodology. We may consider factors such as pricing, fees, platform features, regulation or trust signals, rules, payout terms, support, usability, user fit, transparency and risk. A platform's affiliate status is never an input to its score — we enforce this with an automated test described in our methodology. Not every platform we mention is an affiliate partner, and an affiliate partner may rank lower than a non-partner when our methodology supports that result.
Partner tracking
When you leave WeTheTraders through an affiliate or referral link, the destination platform may receive referral parameters, click IDs or similar attribution information. The destination platform may use its own cookies or tracking to attribute the referral. Their privacy policy and terms apply after you leave our site. Your choice
You never have to use our affiliate links. You can visit a platform directly if you prefer.
Regional rules
We follow FTC (US) and ASA/FCA (UK) rules on disclosure. We never promote products that are restricted in your region — for example, we do not promote CFDs to US users, and we treat crypto promotions to UK users in line with FCA financial-promotion rules.
