WeTheTradershelps readers compare trading platforms, brokers, prop firms, charting tools and related services. To keep the site running, we may earn money through affiliate/referral partnerships — and we think you deserve to know exactly how a site that reviews financial products pays its bills, because that's where bias usually creeps in.

Affiliate commissions

We may earn a commission when a visitor clicks a link on WeTheTraders and signs up, opens an account, buys a plan, starts a challenge, or otherwise becomes a customer of a partner platform. At launch, most links point to official sites and we earn nothing.

No extra cost to readers

Using our affiliate links should not cost you extra. In some cases, a partner may provide a discount, bonus or offer through our link, but we do not guarantee availability of any promotion.

What does not affect rankings

Commission amount does not control rankings, star ratings, scores, pros/cons, risk warnings, or whether we mention important drawbacks. Whether or not we earn a commission never changes a platform's score or ranking. See our methodology.

Editorial independence

Our goal is to help readers understand tradeoffs clearly. We may earn money from some companies we review, but scoring, comparisons and recommendations stay tied to our published methodology:

  • Scores are a fixed weighted average of quality dimensions; affiliate status is not one of them.
  • An automated test fails our build if affiliate status ever changes a score.
  • We publish our weights and link to primary sources so you can check our work.

Non-partner platforms

We may review, compare or rank platforms even when we have no affiliate relationship with them — and an affiliate partner may rank below a non-partner when the methodology supports it.

What's coming later

  • A paid trading-journal subscription (currently a waitlist).
  • A newsletter.
  • Premium comparison tools.

None of these will be allowed to influence our editorial rankings.
