Our verdict & scoring

Crypto.com is a big, consumer-focused exchange known for its slick app, Visa card program, staking and broad coin selection. Convenience comes at a cost: simple in-app buys carry high fees and spreads, while the separate Crypto.com Exchange offers lower maker/taker pricing. Availability varies by country and US state. In 2025 it became one of the first major global exchanges to secure a full MiCA licence (via the Malta MFSA), passportable across the EEA, adding to a UK FCA e-money licence and money-transmitter/VASP licences elsewhere.
